A Brief History of the Czech Bond Market

The article outlines the historical roots of bonds and bond-market institutions in the Czech Republic. The survey begins in early 20th century, during the Habsburg monarchy, carries through the First Republic of Czechoslovakia and the preceding post-Second World War socialist era, and culminates in contemporary times (i.e., the introduction of a free-market economy and the founding of the Czech Republic in the early 1990s to the present). Perhaps surprisingly, similar bond instruments, market infrastructures, and even similar yields are observed one hundred years ago. Evaluation of Economic Efficiency of the Investment Project

Bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnocením investičního projektu rekonstrukce a modernizace expedičního střediska uzenin Makovec a.s. v Držovicích u Prostějova. Je zaměřena především na vyhodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti projektu. Obsahem práce je popis společnosti, jejího investičního záměru a přehled výnosů a nákladů spojených s investicí. V závěru je proveden výpočet základních ekonomických ukazatelů a s jejich použitím je vyhodnocena efektivnost investičního záměru.Bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the investment project of reconstruction and modernization of the dispatch hall of smoked meat products in Makovec company in Držovice near Prostejov. It focuses primarily on evaluating the economic efficiency of the project. The thesis includes a description of the company, its investment plan and an overview of revenues and expenses associated with the investment. At the end is a calculation of basic economic indicators and their use, assessed the effectiveness of the investment plan.

Analysis and Evaluation of Budgetary Management of Selected Regional Self-governing Unit

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu rozpočtového hospodaření vybrané obce. Teoretická část práce se zabývá základním vymezením územních samosprávných celků, finančního systému zahrnující rozpočet, rozpočtový výhled a závěrečný účet obce. Dále je zde charakterizováno rozpočtové hospodaření územních samosprávných celků doplněné o rozpočtovou skladbu. Praktická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na provedení samotné analýzy rozpočtových příjmů a výdajů a to z hlediska jak odvětvového, tak i druhového členění rozpočtové skladby v letech 2018 – 2020. Na závěr je provedeno zhodnocení rozpočtového hospodaření této obce doplněné o návrh ke zlepšení hospodaření.The thesis is focused on the analysis of budgetary management of a selected municipality. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the basic definition of territorial self-governing units, the financial system including the budget, budgetary outlook and the final account of the municipality. Furthermore, the budget management of territorial self-governing units is characterized here, supplemented by the budget structure. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of budget revenues and expenditures in terms of both sectoral and type breakdown of the budget structure in the years 2018-2020. Dále jsou popsány způsoby, kterými je možné veřejné projekty financovat. Praktická část se zabývá nalezením vhodných způsobů financování projektu rekonstrukce silnice II/422 v průtahu obcí Svatobořice – Mistřín a jejich porovnání.In the master's thesis there is described financial assurance of public investment project. The teoretical part part focuses on clarifying the basic concepts of public project . There are described ways in which it is possible to finance public projects. The practical part deals with finding appropriate ways of project financing of road reconstruction II/422 delay the village Svatobořice – Mistřín and their comparison.

Comparative analysis Prague Stock Exchange with selected world stock exchanges

katedra: KFÚ; rozsah: 116Úkol této diplomové práce spočívá v provedení analýzy a následném porovnání vybraných burz, kterými jsou Burza cenných papírů Praha, a. s., Burza cenných papierov v Bratislave, a. s. a Budapest Stock Exchange, v průběhu let 1999 - 2008. První a druhá část se zabývá tématem finančního trhu, především pak trhu kapitálového, jeho regulací, charakteristikou a jsou zde porovnány akcie a dluhopisy. Ve třetí části je pozornost zaměřena na instituci burzy, její obecnou historii, rozdělení, charakteristiku burzovního systému, funkcí a jsou zde zmíněny i druhy obchodů, které mohou být na burzách realizovány. Čtvrtá část je věnována popisu jednotlivých burz z hlediska jejich historie, organizační struktury, burzovních trhů a způsobů obchodování. Vzájemná komparace burz začíná v kapitole pět, kde jsou burzy porovnány podle výše HDP, hodnot burzovních indexů a objemu obchodů s akciemi a dluhopisy. V šesté kapitole jsou analyzovány všechny tři burzy pomocí regresní a korelační analýzy. Úkolem je zjistit, zda existuje závislost mezi zkoumanými veličinami u jednotlivých burz i mezi burzami. Pomocí analýzy obalu dat a analýzy rozptylu byla zjišťována efektivnost burz.The goal of this master thesis consists in the implementation of analysis and comparison of Prague Stock Exchange, Bratislava Stock Exchange and Budapest Stock Exchange during the years of 1999 - 2008. The first and the second parts are focused on the financial market, especially the capital market, its regulation, characteristics and comparison of shares and bonds. The third part is concentrated on the institution of the exchange, its general history, distribution according to various aspects, the characteristics of the share system and the functions are discussed and the types of transactions that may be made on exchanges. The fourth part is devoted to describing of the various stock exchanges in terms of their history, organizational structure, stock exchange markets and ways of trading. The comparison of stock exchanges begins in part fifth where the stock exchanges are compared according to the value of GDP, stock indices and volume of trading with shares and bonds. In the sixth part all stock exchanges are analyzed with regression and correlation analysis. The task is to explore if there is an addiction among the quantities in every stock exchange and among the all stock exchanges. Data envelopment analysis and analysis of variance were used to find effectiveness of stock exchanges

Tato práce pojednává o nástrojích finančního trhu. Čtenáři je nejdříve ukázáno z čeho je finanční trh tvořen, jak funguje, jaké mají cenné papíry charakteristické vlastnosti, proč se používají, jaké výhody a rizika v sobě skrývají. Konkrétně se zaměříme na oblast podílových fondů, jako součást kolektivního investování. Pomocí investičního dotazníků je proveden výzkum jakou investiční strategii běžní občané nejvíce preferují. K této strategii pomocí programu GRANT navrhneme optimální finanční portfolio. Využijeme také vlastnosti fuzzy logiky a ukážeme investorovi jak si může podle svých požadavků vybírat do portfolia vhodné investiční nástroje.This work deals with the tools of financial market. It is demonstrated to a reader, what is the financial market composed from, how it actually works and what are the characteristics of securities, why the securities are used, what are the advantages and disadvantages. We are going to focus on field of mutual funds, as a part of collective investment. Thanks to investment questionary is made a research to find out which strategy is prefered by citizens. We are going to suggest the optimal financial portfolio to this strategy by the program GRANT. We are going to use the fuzzy logic characteristic and we are going to show to the investor how can he choose the suitable invesment tools to his portfolio according to his requierements.

Tato bakalářská práce s názvem Zdrojová analýza financování vybrané investice v obci je zaměřena na možnosti, kterými lze vybraná investice financovat. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část definuje a rozděluje investice a dále pak popisuje jednotlivé finanční zdroje, které je možno využít při financování veřejné investice. Praktická část pojednává o možnostech financování konkrétní investice v obci. Vybraná investice je novostavba mateřské školy v městysi Drásov. Cílem této práce je vyhledání a zpracování všech dostupných finančních zdrojů a následně zvolit optimální variantu financování.This bachelor´s thesis called Source analysis of financing of selected investment in the municipality is focused on possibilities which can be used for financing the selected investment. This work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines and divides investments and then describes the financial resources that can be used for financing public investment. The practical part discusses the possibilities of financing specific investment in the municipality. The selected investment is a new building of kindergarten in the township of Drásov. The goal of this thesis is to find and elaborate all available financial resources and then to choose the optimal variant of financing.

Financial Assurance of Construction Project

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá finančním zajištěním projektu ve veřejném sektoru. V teoretické části jsou stručně charakterizovány základní pojmy týkající se projektu a veřejného projektu. Dále jsou popsány možnosti, jak financovat veřejný projekt a hodnocení projektu metodou CBA. V případové studii je na konkrétním, již realizovaném projektu, zhodnocen a vybrán způsob finančního zajištění projektu a jeho posouzení ze socioekonomického hlediska.This thesis discusses project funding in the public sector. Basic concepts concerning a project and a public project are briefly defined in the theoretical part of this text. Subsequent parts then focus on the options of funding a public project as well as project evaluation using the CBA method. The case study focuses on evaluating and choosing the mean of funding for specific implemented project and its socioeconomic evaluation.
